Friends, listeners, fans, and haters alike,
This is certainly an odd post to make right now on this tumblr. It falls outside the bounds of what I normally post about nowadays, and it most definitely is not the norm for anything relating to what our podcast is about. It is, as you will no doubt come to understand, quite non-pony. But along those lines, I would like to say that, as a podcaster, I feel it necessary to talk about other podcasts that I think are awesome and cool. Even when those podcasts have almost nothing in relation to the ones that I work on.
I would like to talk about The Bi-Quarterly Women’s Social Club.
The BQWSC Podcast has nothing to do with My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and very little to do with the GCC Podcast and the greater Pony Fandom in general. In fact, I’m quite sure many of you have never heard of it, and many of you would never otherwise find out about this podcast or other podcasts like it. But after having listened to a few of their episodes, I feel it my moral duty to plug them from here to hell because let’s face it folks: I’m currently sitting here laughing my pony-loving ass off at this podcast.
Let me tell you about them.
Firstly, I would like to say that “The Bi-Quartly Women’s Social Club” is an extremely misleading title. It is not a bi-quarterly podcast, nor is it a women’s social club. Rather, it is a weekly podcast of four friends grabbing their mics, kicking back, and discussing…well…everything. Of course, I cannot levy criticism in these regards, as the title “The Grand Canterlot Cavalcade; In Colour! A Gentlecolts Podcast for Sophisticated Bronies” is in no way an accurate representation of the veritable tidal wave of obscenity, pornography, faggotry, and improper animal husbandry that you listeners have come to expect from the three inbred retards who run this tumblr blog and podcast.
But false advertisement aside, the bottom line is that you absolutely must listen to this podcast.
The BQWSC is a riot. As stated previously, it is a very general podcast, starring four unique personalities. They sit about, with a very lax topic of the day, and discuss just about everything, from life experiences, society, love, sex, and all things in between. They have interesting guests to offer up their own insight into whatever topic is at hand. They even have a fantastic intro, occasional hilarious commercials, and random sound clips abound in every episode. But more importantly, it’s one of the funniest and most endearing podcasts I’ve had the pleasure of filling my already ravaged ear tubes with.
The production quality is fantastic, and only continues to get better. Excellent editing, fantastic microphones, and a format that, while lax, somehow works extremely well.
Now I know you’re all expecting me to turn around and crack a joke, or make like I’ve been pulling your leg this entire time, but I’m not going to do that. Seriously, give these guys a listen.
So what’s the catch, you’re asking?
The podcast is explicit. And I mean explicit. This is a group of very open individuals. They can be crass, offensive, and sometimes downright cruel. But isn’t that really what the truth is? Truth in general, nay, life in general, is crass, offensive, and cruel. And that’s really what this podcast is about. Life. Life from the view of four crazed Canadians who somehow worked up the courage to get in front of a mic and spit fire for hours at a time.
No, it’s not pony related. No, it has nothing to do with the silly internet memes we pass around on tumblr every day. But honestly now, should that detract from our ability to listen to it?
Their Tumblr: http://bqwsc.tumblr.com/
Subscribe to them on itunes: http://itunes.apple.com/ca/podcast/the-bi-quarterly-womens-social/id492454037
They’ve gained a new subscriber today, GCC listeners. And I hope that upon reading this they gain all of you as well. Because if you aren’t listening in to this glorious display of culture, comedy, and sexuality, then you are a faggot.
That will be all.

P.S If you enjoy their show, then show them some love by leaving a rating or better yet a review on itunes. This is something every podcaster wants and enjoys. -emdefmek
